It champions regional cinema—local stories from local voices. Anyone can partake in the Backyard Film Festival: professionals, first-timers, your grandma, and everyone in between- aiming to screen every film submitted. The program aims to be a reminder not to take art (or yourself) so seriously—a reminder that by creating something, sharing it, and connecting with others, we become better versions of ourselves.
